“I fuse strategy and storytelling to help bold organizations and visionary leaders grow with clarity, purpose, and lasting impact.”
Jenny Jones, Strategic Storyteller & Founder
I’ve always believed that the right story can change how people think, feel, and act. That belief has shaped every chapter of my career — from journalism to corporate communications to launching Sprout Narratives.
My path here
I started in newspaper journalism, covering everything from school board meetings to county fairs. Those early years taught me how to ask better questions, listen closely, and spot the details that make a story memorable.
From there, I moved into nonprofit publishing and corporate communications, working with engineers, scientists, and leaders who needed their messages to resonate beyond technical jargon.
I saw firsthand how storytelling could bridge the gap between big ideas and the people they were meant to reach.
Why I started Sprout Narratives
Over time, I realized that organizations don’t just need content — they need someone who can connect the dots between strategy, audience, and authenticity. That’s what I do best.
Through Sprout Narratives, I partner with leaders to:
-
Uncover the human stories hiding inside complex challenges
-
Shape those stories into clear, strategic communications
-
Build consistency so every message supports the bigger picture
A few things you should know about me
-
I’m a straight shooter. I’ll tell you what’s working and what’s not.
-
I thrive on making the complicated simple.
-
Coffee and morning walks are my unofficial brainstorming tools.
-
I believe stories grow best when they’re rooted in truth.
If you’re ready for communications that feel human, strategic, and impossible to ignore, I’d love to hear from you.
Why Sprout Narratives?
I chose Sprout Narratives as the name of my consultancy because clear, intentional communication fosters growth, inspires action, and aligns people around a shared vision.
The name is also a metaphor for how I think about communication. Delivering one message one time and expecting things to change isn’t logical. That would be like planting a seed and expecting it to bloom overnight.
Instead, each message, each story, is a seed that needs tending. With the right care and feeding, those seeds sprout and those sprouts bloom. That’s the power of strategic communication — that’s the power of Sprout Narratives.
